Daniel, BMus, LRSL
Daniel began playing guitar at the age of 11, firstly performing in school recitals with his fellow classmates. It wasn't long before he became interested in the sound of rock and electric guitar, as played by Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen, and Joe Satriani, and from then onwards, he became very interested in the excitement and virtuosity displayed by these icons.
This prompted a move to London, where Daniel studied at the ICMP, taking lessons with some of the finest and most experienced guitar teachers in the country, and soaked up as many influences as possible from Jazz, Fusion, and Classical music. Currently Daniel plays in an alternative rock band and has his own band of original music, alongside a busy function band which performs around London.
Daniel is very interested in how and why we learn, motivation, the best ways in which to practice and gets deep satisfaction from helping students with their playing. He has experience in teaching a range of abilities and ages, from beginners to very advanced students, and is highly adaptable to the requirements of the student.

"'Daniel has been teaching my son for over 2 years. He is very professional and courteous and teaches at the pace a child can learn comfortably. He keeps the child interested in music which is great. He teaches for the love of music and not just purely as a race to complete levels. My son plays confidently under Daniel’s guidance. He is always accommodating of our requests to move or change classes if needed and is always available for any queries which greatly helps! I would recommend Daniel as a guitar teacher without any reservations." - Diksha (Parent)
