Rob, MA

Rob began playing the piano at the age of 8. After several years of classical piano lessons he expanded his playing skills and began playing blues & rock piano and keyboards. Rob holds a BA in music specialising in Keys performance and a Masters degree. In his spare time Rob is currently preparing his PhD thesis.

After playing his first professional gigs at 14 he has continued to perform on stage and in the studio and has now performed in excess of 1800 shows as a session player.   He has performed in the West End, completed global arena tours as well as recording and performing in some of the world's most respected venues and studios. 

Rob started teaching piano and music theory in 2005 and enjoys watching the progression that his students make. He has taught students from the age of two up to seventy-seven. Rob has taken students from beginners and worked with them up to grade 8 and teaches classical and contemporary music. He has entered students into ABRSM, Trinity, Rock School and ABRSM Jazz exams.
