Suzanne, MA 

Growing up in Hong Kong, Suzanne always wanted to be a teaching musician. She took piano lessons from a young age and continued her studies in music at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She graduated BMus in piano performance and then went on to achieve her MA in music education and performance. She has been working as a piano teacher for several years.

Suzanne plays a range of repertoires from Bach to Sculthorpe and specialises in contemporary music. She won the Chopin cup and was the champion of the Modern class in Richmond music festival in 2017. Besides solo performances, she also enjoys playing and performing chamber music.

Suzanne's gentle and approachable character creates a welcoming teaching environment. Teaching music holistically and supporting her students along their musical development is her teaching philosophy.
