"Hi, Just wanted to say again a big thank you! I'm thoroughly enjoying my guitar lessons with your school! I am sure you will go from strength to strength, you certainly deserve to as you have definitely got a great school going there! I would also like to thank my tutor. He is a fantastic teacher and really re-ignited my passion for playing the guitar... His lessons are always fun and the pacing of them is spot on!"

Testimonials
"I am writing to say how pleased we are with the teaching our son is receiving at A to G. He began learning bass guitar a little more than 2 months ago, and although always keen, his interest in his instrument and the desire to master it has really sharpened under your teacher's tutelage. Working with your school has been a bit of an eye-opener for him who has been used to learning in groups. His positive experience led to his asking if he could also have one-to-one teaching on his guitar. In fairness, the school’s group lessons were a brilliant way to start for him but his progress is accelerating now and it’s interesting to see how what he learns on bass is in turn helping him learn the guitar. Please extend our thanks to the tutors. Thank you to you to for your excellent administration and communication!"

"During the twelve months that my daughter has been attending A to G Music School, she has enjoyed excellent tutoring... Her technique, knowledge and enjoyment of lessons have all benefittd from the teacher's attention to detail, wide knowledge and cheery demeanour. My daughter has enjoyed the last twelve months immensely and is very much looking forward to continuing her lessons with the School in the future."

"I have thoroughly enjoyed the past year learning the piano at A to G. It is something I had been promising myself I would do for ages but never got around to. My tutor is a great teacher, so enthusiastic and patient. My only regret is I didn't start earlier!"
Sue (Adult Student)
"I have recently finished 1 year being tutored on piano at A to G Music School. In that year I have advanced quicker than I thought possible, mainly due my tutor's patience and enthusiasm for the music we select. We play a lot of songs from artists I enjoy listening to and her ability to translate them to piano, at a level comfortable for me to play, is fantastic. This keeps me interested and each lesson is great fun. I look forward to seeing what we can achieve in my second year."
Mike (Adult Student)
"My flute teacher is wonderfully patient and inspiring. She has excellent teaching skills and has helped me to improve my playing and timing through constant encouragement and using a variety of well thought out pieces. I would certainly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn or improve their flute playing!"
Jules (Adult Student)
"I thought I would only have four singing lessons to give me a little confidence but I enjoy the lessons and have learnt so much and improved so much that, over a year later, I am still having lessons. With my teacher I have progressed to learning to read music and I have grown in confidence with my singing and I now sing in an a cappella choir.
Lesson with her are fun, she changes them slightly from week to week so there is no chance to get bored. Because I want to learn more about music, we spend some time learning more about the notes and the way they are written. I usually sing a song of my choosing, with my teacher providing corrections and pointers to improve my renditions. I can recommend her as a fun, thoughtful, enthusiastic and efficient teacher."

"I'm pleased to have the opportunity to say that I have had an amazing year. Really enjoying every minute of every lesson and learning such a lot in the peace and comfort of your lovely school. Thanks to my teacher. He's always so patient and encouraging and never minds how many times I ask him to explain the same thing. It's great to have got to know you and I'm so looking forward to my next year."
Penny (Adult Student)
"I am very happy with the tuitions provided at A to G. In the last year my daughter had a change of tutor and the handover was very thorough. The teaching is comprehensive and methodical, providing a very good grounding in the technique and good practice. The teacher has also been flexible to take on suggestions and in helping with preparation for aural tests in her second instrument exams. I am really pleased with the quality of teaching provided!"
Philip (Parent)
"I am very happy with the progress I have made thanks to my Piano Teacher, who has been the best teacher I have been with. He encourages me every time I have a lesson and I enjoy them so much. Thank you also to the ladies at the reception for the kind words of support."
John (Adult Student)
"I came to A to G a few months ago lacking confidence in Perfoming and vocal ability. In a short time my vocal coach has built me up in those areas brilliantly and has prepared me for my wedding day to sing to my wife. I am still learning and continue to do so enjoying the lessons and her fun approach to something that's a big part of my life. I would recommend her to all ages as she has a great knowledge of music and let's you be free to develop songs that you love. I shall continue to have lessons with her even after my wedding as I enjoy the time spent with her and at the music school."
Simon (Adult Student)
"My vocal coach at A to G is a brilliant tutor who has really helped me to improve all aspects of my singing. She is encouraging, motivational and has given me confidence, which is vital as a singer, to perform to the best of my abilities when singing at live gigs. Thanks to her I fully understand the importance of correct breathing technique, vowel placements and music theory, which have all enabled me to further my skills greatly as a vocalist. I would highly recommend her as her enthusiasm and upbeat nature never fail to make my singing lessons fun and exciting. You rock!"

"My granddaughter has a marvellous teacher. She manages to correct her errors without betraying any negative emotions, which is the essence of helping anyone to learn. My granddaughter LOVES her flute - practices at home without being told to - and genuinely wants to please her teacher, that has helped her in other departments as well. I am quite an experienced teacher myself and it is a pleasure to observe such a good one."
Salley (Grandma)
"I have been studying music at A to G for over a year now. During the piano lessons, the tutor gave me detailed feedbacks and also demonstrated to me how to improve the areas that required attention. Explanations often were given that provide me with a deeper understanding of the pieces and reasons for improvement thereby linking practice to theory. At the end of my lessons, I knew what I had to do, to know and to practise in order to play competently and musically. The teacher encouraged and tutored me in the preparation for three performances. Thank you for being on such a journey with me with the aim of playing musically, improving my scales, aural and sight reading. My teacher has made learning fun and a pleasurable experience. He is indeed an inspiring teacher and versatile facilitator." -

"A to G music school deals with individuals but we (a group of 10 elderly ladies from a local club - a few with some musical knowledge but mostly absolute beginners) wanted ukulele lessons. A to G music school was able to accommodate us. Our tutor is good humoured, knowledgeable and supportive but mostly patient! The lessons are enjoyable, fun and productive (despite 'senior moments') and we are all keen to improve and recruit more strummers to our number. All personnel at A to G are helpful, courteous and anxious to provide a good learning experience."

"My daughter's tutor has been doing a fantastic job at praising, teaching and guiding her; just the right balance to keep her confidence and enthusiasm going. Couldn't ask for a better tutor. A to G Music School is a warm and well-organised environment in which to learn and progress. Its growth over the last few months is a testimony to its great personnel."

"Best tutors! I am really pleased of my daughter’s progress in learning piano with her wonderful teacher. Not only her tutor finds a way for her to learn more and effectively but she also goes out of her limb to help her in many other things. I also wanted to say thank you to my daughter’s violin teacher. Thank you for being patient and thank you for imparting your expertise. Lastly I am so glad I decided to have my children enrolled in your music school. Praises to all of you and all the tutors. My best wishes!"

"My Son attends piano lessons every Sunday. He really loves attending the lessons and has learnt a great deal. I believe that his teacher makes all the difference in bringing out the best of him. She is very knowledgeable in her field and has a lot of patience which really helps. My son finds the lessons very interesting and enjoyable to attend. All I want to say is that you have wonderful teachers here, which are a credit to your School!"

"After leaving her old music tutor my daughter had been recommended to visit A to G school for her lessons, ever since day 1 our Teacher has been really supportive. Her lessons are very efficient but they are not rushed. As a result the Teacher quickly got her in the best shape for her Grade 3 exam. Every lesson she is very eager to learn more as her Teacher has been an excellent role model of a violinist making my daughter want to work even harder to make more progress."

"My teacher is a wonderful violinist who has the ability to engage her pupils with her cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and patience. When I hear her play I know then why I’d like my child to play the violin. She provides boundless encouragement and is so pleasant and nice to my young child that he looks forward to seeing and learning from her. We wish her every success for the future!"
Shankari (Parent)
"'My tutor has been teaching my son for over 2 years. He is very professional and courteous and teaches at the pace a child can learn comfortably. He keeps the child interested in music which is great. He teaches for the love of music and not just purely as a race to complete levels. My son plays confidently under his guidance. He is always accommodating of our requests to move or change classes if needed and is always available for any queries which greatly helps! I would recommend him as a guitar teacher without any reservations."
Diksha (Parent)
"My tutor is an extremely wonderful piano teacher who loves her work and is genuinely passionate about playing the piano. As well as having many professional degrees in various different types of music, she helps her students make significant progress in piano. By focussing on the little details including posture, finger positions, and many more, it allows her student to distinctly stand out from other piano players and helps them to be the best they can be. My teacher is very friendly with her students and never fails to ask them how they are doing, how much they have practiced during the week, and how their weekend has been. The discipline she enforces upon her students by ensuring they practice every day to improve their skill is commendable as it really helps the student to maintain and exceed in their talent. No lesson is the same as the other; within an hour, one is able to learn so much including scales, pieces and theory and my teacher manages to fit in everything splendidly and organizing the hour into different sections of music to ensure that the student doesn't only do 1 portion of the entire syllabus for the whole hour. I'm very happy with my teacher as she has made me love and improve in my piano better than I could have imagined as I get a good balance of both practicing what I need to for my exam and also creative and fun improvisations which build-up to my own compositions." - Sanjana (student 6 years)
"'Our tutor has been teaching piano to our daughter Grace since 2019 and our son Charlie for a few weeks. We are very happy with her as a teacher. She really understands the children and takes the time to ensure they are happy and relaxed in the lessons, whilst also making certain that they understand that practice is required to improve. There’s plenty of variety within the sessions which keeps the children interested and breaks up the time nicely. Communication of progress and any problems with lessons and homework are excellent. It has been very enjoyable watching the children progress with their music and we look forward to continuing to do so."

"'I am writing to highly recommend our tutor as an exceptional piano teacher. Under her guidance, my son, Aidan, recently completed his Grade 6 piano exam with distinction in July 2024. Our tutor's deep knowledge of music and dedication to her students have been evident throughout Aidan’s lessons. She consistently demonstrates a structured approach to teaching, combining technical precision with a passion for music that has greatly inspired Aidan. Her ability to tailor lessons to suit Aidan’s learning style has not only improved his piano skills but also fostered a genuine love for music. She provides helpful feedback and encourages Aidan to strive for improvement, which has played a significant role in Aidan's progress."

"'Under my teacher's tutorage I was awarded a distinction in my ABRSM Grade 5 Piano examination in March 2024. I recommend her piano lessons since she taught me a wide range of music theory knowledge and piano playing techniques. She also taught me examination skills. Uder her persistent training, I have gradually improved my aural skills. I am lucky to have my teacher as my piano tutor at A to G Music School. I have no hesitation in recommending her. May I wish her every success in her pursuit of the career in music education!"
